Internet entrepreneur. After graduating from the University of Southern California, DeWolfe created the original MySpace.com in 1998. A few years later, Tom Anderson helped DeWolfe reinvent the concept for MySpace and the duo, along with a few computer programmers, relaunched the site in 2003.

Designed as a way to connect musicians and bands with their fans and enable them to share music online, MySpace quickly became the rage among teens and 20-somethings. It has since evolved into the most popular social networking website on the Internet. DeWolfe now serves as CEO of the company; Anderson is its President.

In July 2005, Rupert Murdoch's News Corporation purchased MySpace.com for $580 million. By 2006, MySpace reportedly had more than 106 million accounts and 230,000 new registrations per day.
