Actress Adriana Barraza was born March 5, 1956 in Toluca, Mexico. In 2000, she appeared in Alejandro González Iñárritu's critically acclaimed Amores Perros. Despite this success, she was virtually unrecognizable to mainstream audiences when cast as Amelia in Iñárritu's award-winning film Babel.
