Yogi Berra is a former Major League Baseball player and manager. He is widely considered one of the greatest catchers in baseball history, named Most Valuable Player four times during his 19-year career with the New York Yankees. After retiring as a player, he managed the Yankees and the New York Mets. He is one of the few men to manage pennant winners in both the American and National Leagues.
