Born to Livia Drusilla when she was just 13 years old, Tiberius ruled as the Roman Emperor from 14 AD to 37 AD. He is remembered both a great general, as well as a dark and somber ruler who never really desired to be emperor. After the death of his son Drusus, the quality of Tiberius' rule declined and ended in a terror. In 26, he exiled himself from Rome. His grand-nephew Caligula succeeded him.
