Synopsis

Thomas Schelling studied economics at the University of California and Harvard before working for several federal agencies, Ivy league schools and major companies. While at Harvard, he applied game theory to international trade negotiations, later writing two highly influential books. He was co-awarded a Nobel Prize in 2005 for enhancing our understanding of conflict through game-theory analysis.
