Profile

Saint Andrew is one of the Twelve Apostles. In the first three books of the New Testament, it is written that Jesus called Andrew and his brother Peter to put down their fishing nets, as Jesus would make them fishers of men. St Andrew founded the Church of Byzantium. When he died (by crucifixion), he was buried in Amalfi, Italy. His head was later returned to Greece as an act of goodwill.
