Shirley Booth was an American actress who made her Broadway debut in Hell's Bells in 1925, opposite Humphrey Bogart. She later played Lola Delaney in the drama Come Back, Little Sheba, for which she received a Tony Award in 1950. She won both an Oscar and a Golden Globe for its film reprisal in 1952. She also acted on the small screen, playing the title role in the sitcom Hazel from 1961 to 1966.
