Michael Eisner was born on March 7, 1942 in Mount Kisco, New York. He worked at ABC-TV before becoming president of Paramount Pictures. He served as head of the Disney Co. from 1984 until 2005 and was instrumental in reviving Disney with films such as Pretty Woman, Beauty and the Beast and The Lion King. After leaving Disney, Eisner founded the Tornante Co.
