Profile

Henry VII was the King of Germany from 1308 and the first Holy Roman Emperor of the House of Luxembourg (from 1312). He served only a short while, but during his reign he reinvigorated Germany's interest and power in Italy. Due to poor health, he died in 1313, less than a year after he took the crown. Much of his life's work was undone shortly after his passing.
