The newest project for CT Homes comes by way of one of Paul and Than's investor protegees. He sells them on a steal of a deal in an upscale suburb. It's a 3000 square-foot home on a acre, hill-top lot surrounded by trees and stunning views. The interior is recently renovated with new high-end fixtures. Than is wary of taking on a too many projects given their plans to open a satellite office in San Diego, but Paul and JD argue that, with a couple of small fixes, they will have the hottest house in the neighborhood. The biggest challenge will be trying to sell fast in today's down market. Demo day arrives and with it the first major set-back--the overgrown backyard is home to a strange gravel pit that hides the remains of an outdated septic system. The installation of a new septic system plus the discovery of faulty plumbing inside the house turn this quick flip into a serious challenge.
Scott buys a house formerly owned by alien enthusiasts and struggles to keep his flip budget from skyrocketing into space.
Dave and Peter get a lead on their website for a quaint, single-family home in Lynn--a standard looking flip with a few secrets under the surface. A hidden chimney stumps their open floor plan and opening the first floor ceiling reveals the structure is completely unsound. Adding to the stress, Dave hires his son Robert on the job who just can't get to work on time. This renovation keeps the flippers on their toes--will they win the fight or will it be lights out?
A full Biography episode on the life of actor George Clooney.
Before he was known as America's hottest ER hunk or as an Oscar winner, George Timothy Clooney was simply known as "Frankenstein" to his middle school classmates who mocked his bout with Bell's palsy. But with a successful acting and directing career spanning more than two decades and still going strong, it's People's Sexiest Man Alive (twice over) who gets the last laugh. We'll not only mull over his Facts of Life mullet and his stint in a rubberized Batsuit, but also explain how a boy from Kentucky grew up to be a Hollywood power-player, quintessential bachelor, and political and social activist hell-bent on saving the environment and resolving the Darfur conflict.
