Baylor returned the following year, but managed to play in only nine games before retiring. His career averages included 27.4 points and 13.5 rebounds per game. He was named a member of the All-NBA First Team in 10 of his 14 seasons and was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 1977.
