Edward Samuel Behr
Born May 7, 1926, British journalist Edward Samuel Behr served in the Indian army's intelligence division during WWII, then graduated from Cambridge University in 1953. As a foreign correspondent, Behr covered everything from the Cuban missile crisis to the Tet Offensive for Reuters, Time, and Newsweek. His books include Hirohito: Behind the Myth (1989) and The Last Emperor (1987, also film).
