Don released a statement expressing his grief over his brother's death: "I always thought I'd be the one to go first," he wrote, according to The Associated Press. "The world might be mourning an Everly Brother, but I'm mourning my brother Phil."
Married several times, Don Everly has three children: son Edan and daughters Stacy and Erin. Edan has followed in his father's footsteps,
and the two have even performed together. Erin was once married to Guns N' Roses frontman Axl Rose.
Don Everly lives in Nashville.
