Benjamin Bradlee, born in Boston, Massachusetts, was the executive editor of the Washington Post during the publication of the Pentagon Papers and the breaking of the Watergate Scandal. Bradlee began as a reporter for the Washington Post and Newsweek in Paris, before becoming the editor from 1968 to 1991. He died on October 21, 2014 at the age of 93.
