A conversation with Anthony Minghella.
In this biography clip of Anthony Minghella: Belief that Writing is a Vocation, he says that writing is not a route to something else and that you must be serious about it because you must commit something to paper instead of having it just sitting in your mind in a million different ways. You must be made for writing because it takes a lot of patience and creativity. You may even have to write 21 drafts before you get it perfect. Anthony says that the first draft is inspiration and all the rest are perspiration because so much work must be put behind it for it to work out.
