Anne of Cleves was born on September 22, 1515, in Dusseldorf, Germany. A German noblewoman, she was the fourth wife of Henry VIII of England. The marriage was a political arrangement and was quickly annulled. She died on July 16, 1557, in Chelsea Manor, London, England.
