Vincent Price, the appropriately nicknamed master of horror, passed away 20 years ago on October 25th, 1993. The veteran actor had a 55-year career in film and television with almost 200 credits to his name. He owned The House on Haunted Hill, performed in a Theater of Blood, became The Last Man on Earth, and is tortured by The Pit and the Pendulum, just to name a few. But perhaps one of Price's more bizarre roles was as the Batman villain Egghead.

Created for the 1960s Batman TV series, Egghead considered himself to be the world's smartest criminal… who also happened to love eggs. All of his weapons had egg motifs, and he ran around saying things like "eggsplode," and "egg-zactly." His partners in crime were Benedict, Foo Yung, Miss Bacon, and Chief Screaming Chicken. And if the pun hadn't already gone far enough, one of his signature weapons was a tear gas egg that was made from chickens who ate only onions.

Oh, and Egghead himself only ate grade triple-A white eggs. Egg-cellent.
