It's not too hard to rise to glory when you already started at the top. Journalist and storyteller William Randolph Hearst had plenty of cash to spend thanks to a father who owned a gold mine and was senator of California in the late 1880s. And Hearst was definitely not afraid to use his (father's) cash to get what he wanted. The mogul took control of the San Francisco Examiner, thus beginning his journey towards creating one of the most controverial forms of news on the market, "yellow journalism," a precursor to the likes of the National Enquirer. Fast-forward in time, and we get to Hearst's lookalike Scott Wilson, the actor who plays the zombie killin,' post-apocalyptic doctor Hershel in The Walking Dead. But Hershel, er Wilson, didn't have it as easy, starting his career by hitchhiking from Georgia to California at the age of 19 and never looking back. Both of these figures may have started out very differently, but they ended up taking big chances and found success entertaining the masses. Which figures do you know who look-alike? Let us know in the comments below.
