Although Trekkies may be rushing to see Star Trek Into Darkness this weekend, there are real life galactic explorers right here on planet Earth. For instance, there once was a man whose mission was to send a land rover where no rover has gone before. This man's name: Bobak Ferdowsi. Ferdowsi and a team of NASA engineers made headlines in 2012 after successfully sending the Curiosity land rover to explore Mars. His lookalike, Zachary Quinto, has never been to space but has starred in the recently rebooted Star Trek film series as the stone-faced Spock. Aside from the two dabbling in interplanetary endeavors, they're both also from Pennsylvania, and going for the whole, like, adventurous mohawk "I-don't-care-what-you-think-but-I-really-do" look. And now with Ferdowsi saying that he'd like Quinto to play him on film, all Quinto needs to do is take the plunge and shave those temples, and he'll be ready for a Mars rover biopic.
