Hold on to your cowboy hats, Garth Brooks has announced an upcoming new album and has a world tour in the works. With his signing of a new record deal with Sony Music Nashville, this will be Brooks' first studio album since 2001’s Scarecrow.
Don’t expect the 52-year-old singer to depart much from his signature cowboy style, and you probably won't find his new songs on iTunes either. Brooks has steered clear of the digital music download powerhouse, but he plans to make his music available in digital form via his official web site. For Garth fans planning ahead for the holidays, look for his new tunes to release over Black Friday weekend this November.
