No Sleep Til Brooklyn—Playground. With this Saturday marking the one-year anniversary of Adam "MCA" Yauch's death at 47, a playground in Brooklyn Heights, New York, will be renamed in his memory, reports the NY Post.

The renaming of the site, which is currently called Palmetto Playground, was a big win for Beastie Boys fans who fought for a place in the neighbhorod to dedicate to the Brooklyn Heights native who died from a rare form of throat cancer.

The weekend ceremony will be attended by Beastie Boys Adam "Ad Rock" Horovitz, Michael "Mike D" Diamond, as well as Brooklyn Bourough President Marty Markowitz and Councilman Steve Levin.

Adam Yauch Playground would be a much more fitting name since he actually hung out there, and it would be a great testament to a great leader and musician,” stated Councilman Levin, who says he was a "huge" fan of the musical trio.
