More spirits assail our daring duo at the Moss Beach Distillery, but still no sign of Joan. Our search switches to Brookdale Lodge, once frequented by celebrities and gangsters. Hearts miss a beat during a séance in the restaurant when ghost-hunter Gloria suddenly finds she can't breathe and has to be helped from the room. Is it Crawford, angry that Gloria asked about her estranged daughter who wrote the warts-and-all biography Mommie Dearest?
