Possessing exquisite equilibrium, one wishes that Michael Jackson was allowed to transfer that balance to his personal life. When not performing, he was offered for public display through appearances and photoshoots (like the one above). Behind the scenes, the Jackson kids, Michael in particular, were pushed by their father to perfection through constant rehearsing and abuse. While the hard work and whippings did contribute to Jackson’s success, a somewhat normal childhood would certainly have led to less erratic behavior, missteps, pain, and an eventual reliance on Propofol for peace.
