This week Harrison Ford turns 70, and it’s interesting to think of how his life would have turned out had he not become a Hollywood carpenter. It was while doing carpentry work at George Lucas‘ home that he got noticed by the director and was offered a role in his 1973 film American Graffiti. In 1975 he was hired to read lines for parts in Lucas’ Star Wars, and the rest is intergalactic history.
