Michael Phelps is making major news for his gold-medal win at the Swimming World Championships in Shanghai, but "Missile Missy" Franklin was the American team's breakout star. The bubbly 16-year-old Colorado native made her world debut by snagging two gold medals—one for the 200-m backstroke and another as anchor for the 4x100-m medley relay—in record-breaking time. Franklin also scored a total of five medals at the championships, which happens to be four more than Phelps won at the age of 16. Could we be witnessing greatness in the making?
