Michael Phelps' outstanding performance at the Beijing 2008 Olympics left some people wondering if he was possibly otherwordly. Well, perhaps he is, folks...maybe, just maybe, he's a time-traveling superhuman! Someone who looks suspiciously like him, Charles Lamb, was around from 1775-1834. Lamb, while never famous for being a swimmer, was a well-known English essayist. Let's take a look at what these two "different" people have in common:

Youngest
Both Michael Phelps and Charles Lamb were the youngest children in their families.

London
Charles Lamb was born in London. Michael Phelps, partly of English descent, will be competing in the London Olympics this summer.

Speech Impediments
Michael Phelps has a lisp, and Charles Lamb stuttered.
