Lookalike of the Week: Acting Alike

You might have caught yourself watching 12 Angry Men (1957) and thought, 'Hmm, I've seen this guy somewhere recently... on How I Met Your Mother!" After quickly realizing that's not the case, you were then convinced that Lee J. Cobb and Jason Segel must be related! These two lookalikes both established themselves as famous actors. Both men were born on a Friday! Lee J. Cobb was born Friday, December 8, 1911, and Jason Segel was born Friday, January 18, 1980.

As a youth, Cobb spent his time studying the violin in hopes of becoming a symphony-quality musician, but his dream was cut short due to a wrist injury. As for Segel, he can play the piano. You can check out his talent in the film Forgetting Sarah Marshall (2008), where he sings “Peter You Suck” while playing the piano. (Perhaps not the most classical choice of song, but just go with it.)
