The producers at BIO.com review hundreds of photos of famous figures each week, from award-winning actors and popular singers, to headliners and scandal makers. While we're digging through these archives, we often come across amazing photos that we're just dying to share. So, without further ado, here's the one image that stands out to us this week:

In many ways the above photo portrays exactly the kind of tumultuous, excessive and even loving relationship Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton had during the two separate times they were married. Here we catch them in a surprisingly candid moment photographed by Martha Swope during production of the 1983 play Private Lives. The photo is just one of the images currently on display in Martha Swope: In Rehearsal, an exhibit of Swope’s dance and theater photography at The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts.

Regarding Liz in this picture, Swope said: "She's trying to look like she's frightened. But they're really having fun."

Lifetime's Liz and Dick premieres Sunday, Nov. 25th at 9/8c.
