Does Tilda Swinton Look Like David Bowie?
Who says that you have to conform to be a superstar? English singer David Bowie came onto the music scene in 1969 with the single "Space Oddity." The unique song mixed with Bowie's androgynous style got audiences interested in what the one-of-a-kind musician had to say. It wasn't long before Bowie took his artistry to the next level and introduced the world to Ziggy Stardust, Bowie's cheeky rock star alter ego whose identity lay claim to colorful costumes and dynamic makeup. Actress Tilda Swinton also made her way to stardom by going down a seldom-taken path. Swinton found fame by taking on several unconventional roles, beginning with her gender-bending role in the film Orlando. Since then, the actress has found success in other atypical roles, even winning an Academy Award for her part in Michael Clayton. It seemed it was just a matter of time that these two doppelgangers joined forces; earlier this week, Swinton debuted in David Bowie's haunting music video, "The Stars (Are Out Tonight)."
