Fallon attended the
Known for his spot-on impressions, Fallon moved to New York City and in 1998, realized his dream of becoming a regular cast member on Saturday NightLive and co-host of its Weekend Update segment.
He left the program after six seasons to focus on making feature films such as Taxi (2004), Fever Pitch (2005) and Factory Girl (2006).
In addition to his comedic work, Fallon has flirted with dramatic roles, including supporting appearances in HBO’s war drama Band of Brothers (2001) and the big screen hit Almost Famous (2003).
In 2008 Fallon announced he would take over Conan O'Brien's Late Night job in 2009. O'Brien succeeded Jay Leno as host of The Tonight Show, and Leno moved to an earlier time slot.
